Technical Information
Minimum Server Requirements.
- We recommend using PHP 7.4, we do not currently support PHP 8.
- We recommend using Apache, but you can also use other software* that is similar.
- We recommend using MySQL version 5.6.43 (2019-01-21) or higher.
You will not receive support for errors that occur in unsupported versions unless they also occur in the recommended versions.
*Saturn has not been tested in other similar software, and we are currently unable to provide support for these.
Saturn on localhost: A temporary fix.
We're aware of issues using the Saturn installer in localhost environments and we're actively working to fix them.
For now, please follow these steps to ensure you can still use Saturn in the localhost:

- 2.Edit your config.php file to match your information. If you'd like, you can get an Activation Key here: https://saturncms.net/get/key/
- 3.
- 4.Rename the demo database file to saturn_demo.sql and upload it to your database management software (usually phpMyAdmin).
- 5.Start Saturn as normal. Your username is 'admin' and password is 'password'.
